T-1 day...

So, since Bridget and I had the graduation yesterday, we packed on Friday.  We're kind of think-ahead kind of people, so that seemed logical to us. :)  Which is great, except for the fact that we had next-to-nothing to do today.  Except wait.  And wait. :)  We spent the morning at Bridget's parents and then I went to my family's house for the afternoon.  Jordan, Jason, and I played a game of Settlers of Catan.  Definitely a favorite.  In fact, last Christmas, I bought them an expansion pack and we played it at least once a day all week! :)  It was a blast. :)

Anyway, after that, I went for a run in the state park across the street from Bridget's parent's house.  There are miles of trails in the woods (mostly for mountain biking), and I love to run trails.  And it was a little bit chilly today, so the mosquitoes stayed away for the most part while I was actually running.  Some dude stopped me near the end of my run and wanted to know what roads were around and where any neighborhoods were.  I obliged him and simultaneously sacrificed my blood to the local mosquito community (well, at least the ones brave enough to venture out in the cold).  But it wasn't as bad as it could have been (and has been in the past), so I call it a good run. :)

And then tonight, everyone at Bridget's parent's house (Bridget's parents, Bridget, and I) just hung out and watched a movie.  I cleaned out Bridget's mom's cupboard of random pasta noodles for dinner.  I just cooked up whatever had been opened and shoved back in the corner.  So, I had some rotini noodles (the twirly ones), some spaghetti noodles, some mostaccoli noodles, and even some lasagna noodles.  I've always wanted to each lasagna noodles straight...  Anyway, it's about time for bed so we're ready for our 34 hrs of travel coming up tomorrow...
