Camera Tricks

For Bridget's birthday, I bought her a wireless SD card for her new camera.  It is called an Eye-Fi card.  The camera takes pictures like normal and stores them on the SD card.  Then the magic starts.  When the card is within range of a known wireless network (that is set up ahead of time), it connects to the computer and downloads the photos. Pretty sweet, huh? :)  No more cords to remember (or lose, as is common for me...).

Anyway, Bridget and I wanted to give it a test drive today before we leave on our trip, so we went to the nearby state park and snapped some shots.  Once we got back, it fired up and downloaded the pictures.  Here are a few that we took.

Bridget and I will be using her mom's netbook.  It's a tiny 10" mini-computer, but it's really portable and will be perfect for our trip.  So, I spent some time today updating it after I fixed Bridget's dad's computer.  I feel like a computer nerd fixing all of these computers...  but I'm glad to help.

Anyway, the countdown is down to 4 days!  Can't wait!
