So, I (Jeremy) am sitting on the floor in our apartment with the last of our few belongings and eating some leftover pasta. Since our silverware was packed, I figured out that the piece of bread works quite well as a shovel (don't tell my mom I "shoveled" my food). Anyway, this reprieve was preceded by vacuuming, cleaning, laundry-ing (sounds way better than "doing laundry" - gotta keep the parallelism) and lots and lots of packing. I was going to take pictures of the car, but the trunk was so full that I'm afraid to open it until we want everything to automatically unpack itself (i.e. fall out). I also figured out (not really rocket science, but cool nonetheless) that there is quite a bit of space between the door and the seat once its closed. So, you can close the door, roll down the window, and keep loading stuff in! It's great! Oh, and clothes hangers can be unwound into grilling tongs, just in case you were wondering... :)
Well, my pasta is just about done and I should actually pack the laundry in the car, if it'll fit. And if it doesn't, I'll make it fit... :)

Introduction
So, based on frequent requests, Bridget and I have decided to blog about our adventures this summer. In case you don't know, our summer will be, well, kinda... amazingly crazy-awesome. There are five main "Acts", if you will. The narrative will progress as follows.

P.S. Please feel free to comment and leave feedback - the more interactive the better!
- Prelude: Packing up and moving out of Ann Arbor, MI (Yesterday and Today)
- Act 1 - Jeremy's Family Vacation in Floriday (Today - May 31)
- Act 2 - Catching up in Rockford Illinois (May 31 - June 13)
- Act 3 - Traveling in Asia (June 13 - July 11)
- Act 4 - Bridget's Family Vacation in South Carolina (July 14 - 23)
- Finale - Moving to Palo Alto, California (July 25-29)
So, if you are of the more observant kinds of people, you will notice that moving from Ann Arbor and Jeremy's Family Vacation both happen today. Yes, we are leaving Ann Arbor tonight (after Bridget works) and driving to Rockford, IL (~ 5 hrs). Upon our arrival, we will proceed to park our car and hop in my parents' car and begin the drive (yes, we are driving) to Florida. Complete insanity, but I guess so is taking a family vacation with 11 people (yes, there are 11 people in my family).
There are also a few other "unaccounted" days, but those will be spent recovering from the other activities... :) So, welcome to the journey and we look forward to sharing it with you!~ Jeremy and Bridget
